LOTTE Advanced Materials joins plastics exhibition ‘FAKUMA 2018’ held in Germany

LOTTE Advanced Materials participated in 'FAKUMA 2018' held in Messe Friedrichshafen, Germany, from Oct. 16 through Oct. 20, 2018.

'FAKUMA 2018' is one of the three largest plastics and processing technology exhibitions in Europe. Marking its 26th anniversary this year, the trade show attracted more than 1,900 exhibitors, including world-renowned petrochemical companies such as Dupont, BASF, Covestro and Lanxess, and over 45,000 visitors from across the world. A total of 12 exhibition sections for FAKUMA visitors and European buyers, ranging from chemical and raw materials to finished products to injection molding machines to various molds and recycling products.

Since LOTTE Advanced Materials first attended the exhibition in 2009, the company has taken part in FAKUMA for seven years in a row. At the exhibition, the company introduced LOTTE brand for the European market and at the same time shared its vision as a leading provider of high value added materials. In addition, LOTTE proposed new material solution ideas for customers and unveiled a range of specialty materials equipped with advanced technologies such as antimicrobial and anti-dust features, as well as the latest material solutions optimized for various industrial applications such as automotive, medical, construction, energy and railway.

At the FAKUMA 2018, the company crafted a casual atmosphere for the exhibition booth, adopting the European elements of unrestricted participation and active communications. LOTTE set up an open-type meeting lounge inside the booth to hold meetings with customers more effectively. T

he company also designed the booth in a way that customers could have hands-on experience with LOTTE’s products, such as checking out anti-static materials. Besides, LOTTE collaborated Oxford Korea to set up a special exhibition section where customers could assemble the blocks made up of antibacterial, environmentally friendly PCM and metallic Luminous materials, thereby presenting the potential values of materials in an entertaining way.
