Arkema Functional Polyolefins soon to become SK Functional Polymer

On October 14th 2019, Arkema announced the proposed divestment of its Functional Polyolefins business to SK Global Chemical, a subsidiary of South Korean SK Group. The closing is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2020.
Specialty polyolefins for food packaging market
Arkema Functional Polyolefins will then become “SK Functional Polymer” with the ambitious plan to become a leader in Specialty Polyolefins serving the Packaging and Automotive markets.
