Arkema announces a price increase of Specialty Polyolefins

Due to the rising costs of raw materials, Arkema will implement a price increase of 150€/MT for its Specialty Polyolefins.

Rising prices of raw materials (ethylene, and acrylates acetate) continues to affect our costs very significantly.

This price change will be effective on June 1st, 2015 or as contracts allow and will be in effect for all grades and modes of deliveries. This new increase is in addition to the ones already announced in the previous months.

Product families included in this measure are as follows:

• Lotryl® BestPeel Sealant Resins
• Lotryl® copolymers
• Lotader® terpolymers
• Evatane® copolymers
• Orevac® T terpolymers
• Evasin® EVOH barrier material

Arkema's Specialty Polyolefins are used in diverse industrial applications, including multilayer barrier packaging and sealing film, technical polymer modification, color master batches, hot melt adhesives, cables jacket electronics, compounds and pipe coating.
